MIPS Reporting / MACRA Resources

Physician practices have the potential to gain or lose up to 4% of their Medicare payment based on what they submit in 2017.

CMS calculates that 83-90% of eligible clinicians will fall into the MIPS track in 2017, while only 10-17% of clinicians will fall into the APM track. What you do this year will affect your future reimbursement.

What does this mean for YOUR pactice?

To better understand potential bonus, take a minute to see what is at stake by using our MACRA calculator. Note - if you choose to do nothing that same amount would be the penalty.

About MACRA and MIPS

The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) called for a revolutionary shift in how physicians are paid using quality and value metrics to replace the old SGR methodology for fee schedule adjustment.

MACRA stresses quality of care over quantity of patients seen.

Within MACRA is the Merit-based Incentive Payment System – or MIPS – and the Alternative Payment Model system – or APM.

Both of these tracks are value-based reimbursement models. Take advantage of the following resources to make sure you are fully educated:
